Plus Learn — Terms of Use
Last updated 1 September 2026
These terms govern the use of Plus Learn on the web and in the iPhone and Android apps. By signing in you agree to them. If you are a school, you agree on behalf of the learners you enrol; if you are a parent, you agree for yourself and for the children you link.
The service
Plus Learn provides learning tools for schools in Uganda: an AI tutor that guides learners through their work, syllabus coverage tracking for teachers, adaptive practice, and progress reporting for parents. The service is provided to schools under a separate agreement with each school; learners and parents use it through their school.
Accounts and Plus IDs
A learner’s Plus ID and PIN are issued by the school and belong to that learner. Keep the PIN private. A parent account may only link children whose card the parent holds. You are responsible for activity under your account, and you must tell your school if a card is lost.
Acceptable use
- Use the service for learning and school administration only.
- Do not attempt to access another person’s records, reverse-engineer the service, or interfere with its operation.
- Do not submit unlawful, abusive or harmful content in messages or work.
- The tutor does not give final answers to graded work; attempts to obtain them are a breach of your school’s rules.
Content and intellectual property
The Plus Learn software, design, Pip and the built-in curriculum content are owned by Plus Learn or its licensors. Work a learner submits remains theirs and their school’s; you grant us a licence to store and process it to provide the service.
The AI tutor
Pip is an AI system. It can make mistakes. Its explanations support, and do not replace, a teacher. Marks, grades and exam predictions in the app are estimates and are not official school records unless your school says so.
Availability
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The app keeps progress on the device and syncs when it can.
Liability
To the extent permitted by the laws of Uganda, Plus Learn is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending use
A school may withdraw a learner at any time; a parent may delete their account from settings. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above is the latest revision. Questions: hello@pluslearn.sh. These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda.
